Camp Information:

This year Gator Water Polo is hosting camp in conjunction with BIWPA, RFLearning, and USA Water Polo. The camp will have a very low coach to athlete ratio. Space is limited so reserve your spot today.

European Water Polo Training Methodology!

USA Water Polo Membership is required: Bronze level or higher.

  • International athletes will bring with them a completed 14 day trial USA Water Polo Membership form to be activated on the 1st day of camp. (.pdf form will be emailed to each international family after registration)

Residential Campers $695:

  • Camp Registration Monday 8:00AM
  • Includes room and board Monday - Friday at Camp Check Out 1:00PM
  • Camp Check Out Friday 1:00PM (unless signed up for Gap Weekend, or extra night)
  • Each athlete will receive a Camp Suit, Camp Shirt, at registration.

Typical Day (a detailed itinerary outlining each day will be provided in check-in packet):
Wake Up 7:15AM

Vans to Pool 7:50AM
Training 8:15AM - 12:00PM

Day Campers $450:

Gap Weekend Residential Campers: Room / Board / Florida Based Excursions $425:

For our athletes staying between the two sessions, we have room / board, and excursions. Transportation, and entrance to each excursion is included. (athletes are expected to have an appropriate amount of spending money to enhance their enjoyment of the Florida based excursions)

Amenities include:

  • Room and Board Friday July 5th - Sunday July 7th
  • Excursion to Manatee Springs (Friday Afternoon July 5th)
  • Excursion to St. Augustine Day Beach (Saturday July 6th)
  • Excursion to Walt Disney World (Magic Kingdom Sunday July 7th)
    • Athletes will pay for their own for lunch inside the park.

Gap Weekend Day Campers: Florida Based Excursions $190:

For our local athletes between the two sessions we have excursions. Transportation, and entrance to each excursion is included. (athletes are expected to have an appropriate amount of spending money to enhance their enjoyment of the Florida based excursions)

Amenities include:

  • Excursion to Manatee Springs (Friday Afternoon July 5th)

    • Athletes will pay for their own for lunch inside the park.

Extra Room / Board Nights $95:

For our residential athletes arriving on Sunday before camp starts or leaving on Saturday after camp ends, camp will arrange room and board.

English or Spanish Lessons $150:

For our residential international athletes, camp will offer a Monday - Thursday, 1.5 hour lesson with our English or Spanish instructors.

Local Airport Pickup and Drop off $0 - $50:

For our athletes coming from International, or US based locations, we will pickup and/or drop your athlete off at the airport. Individual athlete transportation is available at the Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV) at no charge and at the Orlando International Airport $50 per direction.

*if you are traveling with a team, we can also pickup / drop off for your entire team. The airports available for team pickup / drop off are: Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando, Gainesville. Contact us to discuss arrangements for your team.

To Bring to Camp:

  1. USA Water Polo Trial Membership Form (International Athletes) / Gator Water Polo Release Form Packet
  2. Appropriate street clothes for the week (or two weeks if multiple sessions)
    • Laundry facilities available
  3. Dry-land Training Gear (running shoes, t-shirt, athletic shorts)
  4. Healthy Snacks
  5. Water Bottle
  6. Backpack
  7. Suits (minimum two)
  8. Goggles (minimum two)
  9. Towel (minimum two)
  10. Sunscreen
  11. Hat / Visor
  12. Sun Glasses
  13. Sandals / Flip Flops
  14. An appropriate amount of spending money

Cancelation Policy:

Athletes session fee, minus a $100.00 non-refundable administrative fee, will be refunded without questions if cancellation occurs before May 15th, 2019. Refunds will not occur after this time. It is possible to obtain a future full camp credit as an alternate to the refund or transfer to another athlete.
