Welcome Head Coach Danny Ramirez

Welcoming Head Coach Orange / Blue Teams Danny Ramirez

Coach Danny has been playing water polo since he was eight years old and began his career playing for Colegio Brains International School La Moraleja in Madrid, Spain. He moved to Gainesville at 13 and started playing for GWP and then Gainesville High School. Danny was a 4-year starter at GHS and helped build the GHS team and lead them to their 1st district title in 2019. After graduating during COVID-19 in 2020, he returned to Spain (Barcelona) to play professional water polo for Club Natacio Sant Feliu. When Danny returned from Spain, he continued his passion for photography and video at the First Institute in Orlando, graduating recently with an excellent filmography portfolio. We can also credit some of our superb Instagram posts recently to Coach Danny (the.darkroom.visualz). We can’t think of anyone more qualified than an alum of this program to lead our Orange / Blue team and GWP into the future. Welcome Coach Danny back to GWP.
