Katie Larson
Katie Larson is from Atlanta, Georgia, and has played water polo for over thirty years, including four years at Division I UMass — a program that lost its varsity status soon after she graduated.
She coached the women's water polo team at the University of Florida for fourteen years, placing first in the region in ten of them, earning CWPA Coach of the Year twice and winning the National Championship in 2019.
She joins Gator Water Polo to help athletes find as much fulfillment and delight in the sport as she does, and to mentor the club's younger coaches so the staff is strong from top to bottom.

Practices run at NE Pool, 1100 NE 14th Street, Gainesville, with drylands at Gate 18 of the UF football stadium. No prior water polo experience is needed to start.
