- Can adults play water polo in Gainesville?
- Yes. Gator Water Polo runs Masters for adults on Thursdays, 7–8 PM, at NE Pool, 1100 NE 14th Street. All abilities train together and new players are welcome any week.
- Do I need to have played water polo before?
- No. Zero water polo experience is required. What you do need is to be able to swim 25 yards unassisted — the game assumes you are comfortable in deep water.
- What does adult water polo cost?
- $10 for a single drop-in practice, or $35 a month. Monthly players also need an active USA Water Polo Bronze membership, $65 a year.
- Can I try one session before committing?
- Yes. Drop in for a single practice and pay for that session only. Most people do that before switching to the monthly rate.
- Is there water polo for my children too?
- Yes — six age-group teams from about seven through eighteen train at the same pool, and the first practice is free.
